In January, Madagascar opened its second cluster of new schools. Our new Education Coordinator, Hiaro, provided training to all the new teachers from schools 6 to 11. The training included sessions on: what is teaching, teacher-student relationships, the learning environment, teaching ideas and child protection. The teachers also received training from the Chief Zap (local education official) who is working in partnership with UWS.
